About me

I am a freelance statistician and data analyst, offering my services to researchers, research institutions, and the industry.

I have studied statistics at ETH Zurich (MSc Statistics) and biostatistics at University of Zurich (UZH), followed by a year in the Pharmacometrics Group (Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences) of University of Uppsala and in the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (MEB) of Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm.

From 2014 to 2018, I have been a member of the consulting team of the Department of Biostatistics at the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute (EBPI) of University of Zurich. From 2018 to 2019 I worked as senior biostatistician at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM) of University of Bern.

In addition, I have spent several years in basic research (Behavioural Neurobiology, ETH), and at Swissmedic, the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products, reviewing bioequivalence studies.

My first professional formation is as a medical doctor (Dr. med.). I have a thorough clinical background based on many years working as a resident in several clinics.

This unique combination of biostatistics, medical training, experience in basic research, familiarity with clinical trials, and the knowledge gained as a reviewer in the drug authorization process provide a high level of expertise in the design of scientific studies and the adequate statistical analysis.

Since 2017, I am a member of the committee of the Swiss Statistical Society.
