I am a freelance statistician and data analyst, offering my services to researchers, research institutions, and the industry.
My first professional formation is as a medical doctor (Dr. med.). I have a thorough clinical background based on many years working as a resident in several clinics.
I have studied statistics at ETH (MSc Statistics) and biostatistics at University of Zurich (UZH), followed by a year at University of Uppsala and Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. Since 2014, I am a member of the consulting team of the Department of Biostatistics at UZH.
In addition, I have spent several years in basic research (Behavioural Neurobiology, ETH), and at Swissmedic reviewing bioequivalence studies.
This unique combination of biostatistics, medical training, experience in basic research, familiarity with clinical trials, and the knowledge gained as a reviewer in the drug authorization process provide a high level of expertise in the design of scientific studies and the adequate statistical analysis.
Since 2017, I am a member of the committee of the Swiss Statistical Society.
